Adventure Rider Training Level 1 – February 10/11 2024 – Hungry Valley

If you’ve ridden the street for years and want that same level of confidence in the dirt, this is where you should begin. In BlackSwanMoto Adventure Rider Training Level 1, we increase your confidence by combining classroom discussion with practical application. Your training begins with instruction in proper clutch, brake, and throttle control. Our Instructors guide you through body positioning, posture and balance, moving into techniques in starting, stopping, and skid management.

This is the foundation on which we will build your confidence, allowing you to learn and practice effective momentum and slow speed control, as well as turns and directional changes using these core techniques.  Practical application exercises of these fundamentals will include trail riding, traversing hills and sand, in addition to techniques for recovery from stalled hill climbs.

The BlackSwanMoto Methodology provides intelligent training that focuses on development and application of the fundamental techniques involved in handling motorcycles on and off road all while building rider confidence, which is the most important tool BlackSwanMoto develops. A progression based curriculum, we guide the rider step by step through those fundamentals, bridging one skill to the next, increasing intensity as rider confidence increases.

The sum of 2 days of instruction and drills will take you from little-to-no experience riding off-highway to confidently piloting your dual-sport / adventure motorcycle in the dirt. You will then have the freedom to embark on day-trips and weekend rides down dirt roads in search of that secluded fishing hole, rarely seen and spectacular vista, or to simply take that head-clearing afternoon adventure.

Two days training, includes lunch both days, and a BlackSwanMoto T-shirt.
